Southern Soccer Academy announce another new affiliate!

(May 3, 2021) - Southern Soccer Academy and North Georgia Soccer Academy today announce a strategic partnership. This partnership will allow both clubs to expand playing opportunities for boys and girls within both of the major youth soccer umbrellas, US Youth Soccer and US Club Soccer.

Through the partnership, elite NGSA male players will now have a defined pathway through MLS Next Development Platform at U13 and above, and USL 2/USL Academy at U16 and above. Elite NGSA female players will now have a defined pathway through Girls Academy (GA) and Development Player League (DPL) at U13 and above, and WPSL/WPSL U21 at U16 and above.

Simon Davey, Executive Director of Southern Soccer Academy says, “We welcome North Georgia Soccer Academy into the SSA family. We are excited to expand our player pool and offer the highest-level programs to the North Georgia Community. It is always important to provide pathways for players to college scholarships and beyond. We are proud of what we have achieved in this space at SSA and are excited to provide this level of exposure to the NGSA players.

Founded in 2016, NGSA is an elite youth soccer club in North Georgia.  NGSA has branches in Dalton, Rome, Calhoun, Ringold, and LaGrange.
