Southern Soccer Academy and FC Sudamerica Announce Strategic Partnership to Offer New Playing, Recruiting, and Identification Opportunities
(May 3, 2021) - Southern Soccer Academy and Futbol Club Sudamerica today announce a strategic partnership. This partnership will allow both clubs to expand playing opportunities for boys and girls within both of the major youth soccer umbrellas, US Youth Soccer and US Club Soccer.
FC Sudamerica and SSA are two youth soccer clubs that are based in the southeastern US. Both clubs currently compete in their local state leagues. SSA also completes at the regional and national levels. In addition, SSA owns USL 2 and WPSL franchises.
Through the partnership, elite FC Sudamerica male players will now have a defined pathway through MLS Next Development Platform at U13 and above, and USL 2/USL Academy at U16 and above. Elite FC Sudamerica female players will now have a defined pathway through Girls Academy (GA) and Development Player League (DPL) at U13 and above, and WPSL/WPSL U21 at U16 and above.

Founded in 2019, Futbol Club Sudamerica is an elite youth soccer club in North Georgia. FC Sudamerica offers Academy and Select soccer for boys and girls in the U9-U19 age groups. FC Sudamerica’s goal is to provide a comprehensive soccer experience for players who love the game and plan to compete at a high level.
