In the second of two major announcements regarding new partnerships for the 2015-16 season, Tampa Bay United Soccer Club and Orthopaedic Medical Group of Tampa Bay (OMG) announced today they have reached a partnership agreement, which makes OMG of Tampa Bay the Official Orthopaedic Health Care Provider for Tampa Bay United Soccer Club.
“There is no partner we’d rather have. From the first meeting to the last OMG of Tampa Bay has shared our vision of providing health care for our members,” said TBU Director of Business Development, Joel Harrison. “Not only are we securing a top-class Orthopaedic Health Care Partner, but we are solidifying a partnership between two organizations committed to the health and safety of our members.”
“We’re excited about this agreement and what it means for us as an organization and the membership at TBU,” said Jeff Watson, M.D., at OMG of Tampa Bay. “It will showcase the unique abilities of our medical team to provide high-quality care for the TBU Membership.”
Under the agreement, OMG of Tampa Bay will be the exclusive and Official Orthopaedic Health Care Provider for TBU and its members providing athletic training services at practices, games, TBU tournaments, tryouts and other TBU special events. More details regarding Athletic Training coverage for practices and games will be sent to the membership via email blasts, your team manager, and team meetings.
